Forget politics, what about people?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ONCE AGAIN, the opposition Jamaica Labour Party(JLP) is embroiled in a public squabble. The issue this time around concerns the postponement or not, of the party's annual conference.

The question that I beg to ask is: Is the party chairman, Bruce Golding and others aware that there are hundreds of people without light, water and some without food? Can they remove the politics from their thoughts and think about the Jamaican people?

As a mark of respect for all those who are going through this difficult period, I firmly believe that the JLP should postpone their conference.
