THE EDITOR, Sir:
A PLEASANT day to all. I believe in the power of prayer. I also believe in the power of the mind.
I refer to the 'Letter of the Day' printed on Thursday, September 25, 2004, 'Why Hurricane Ivan changed direction'.
I believe, like that mother, that her daughter's hope, faith and will played a strong part in turning back the dreadful force of 'Mr. Ivan The Terrible'.
I also know for sure that the human mind is the strongest force on earth oh that we were all positive and good! Then Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World would be for real.
Last of all and most of all never underestimate the power of a child's clean, uncorrupted and uninterrupted mind.
PS: Wonder what Ivan did with the $20?
By the way that was the perfect 'Letter of the Day'.
