You were my angels
published: Monday | September 27, 2004

EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to thank Carolyn Reid and Chukwuemeka, attorneys-at-law of Duke Street, Kingston; and Zavia Palmer of the Norman Manley International Airport Maintenance Department for assisting my daughter and I while my car was broken down along Mother White Bridge, Spanish Town Road, on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at 5:30 p.m.

All three persons stayed with us and tried to have the problem remedied; when there was no success they towed my car to the Hunts Bay Police Station at about 7:00 p.m.

When I identified myself to Carolyn, she replied, "I did not care who the persons were. All I saw was a lady and a little girl who needed help and their lives could have been in danger."

I would just like Jamaicans to know that there are still some good people left in this country despite all that is happening.

Thank you again. Words cannot express our gratitude. You are all angels sent from above.

I am, etc.,

CLAUDIAN BAKER,

Detective Corporal

C.I.B. Headquarters

East Queen Street

Kingston
