JPS Ruthven Road team
published: Wednesday | September 29, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WRITE on behalf of the residents of Mavis Avenue, Kingston 16, to say thanks to some members of the JPS. All the roads that surrounded us had had their electricity restored (post-Ivan), but due to the fact that several of our power lines were down, we were in darkness.

The crew members, on the request of one of our residents, came to restore lights to the streets on Wednesday, Sept-ember 22 (this, after working on another street until about 6:00 p.m.). However, when the pleas started going up, all the houses, that could be supplied, were. Hats off especially to Mr. Tony Turner and the other men whose names I never got. Thanks a lot, gentlemen.

I am, etc.,

COLLEEN CHAMBERS-

SINCLAIR
