Misleading
published: Thursday | September 30, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WAS very disappointed to read the September 29 misleading headline, 'U.S. responsibility for J'can problems'. Dr. Anthony Harriott gave a very insightful and balanced response to the contributing writer's clearly biased question.

The article's headline was
misleading and is a disservice to the many people from Jamaica and the United States who are working together to address and resolve critical issues that affect both of our countries. The Gleaner's readers deserve better.

I am, etc.,

ORNA T. BLUM

Public affairs officer

Embassy of the United States

of America
