THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE STUDENTS' Loan Bureau commends Donald Mullings, president of Incorporated Masterbuilders Association of Jamaica (IMAJ), for his public support of the bureau's efforts at ensuring loan repayment.

We are equally heartened that Mr. Mullings, in his capacity as an employer, has seen the value in ensuring that none of his staff members fall among those of our clients who have failed to keep their legal obligations.

The bureau calls upon other professional associations to follow the lead of the IMAJ in preserving the integrity of its members while helping to protect the viability of the Student Loan Revolving Fund. And, ultimately playing a critical role in the development of this nation through education.
