Same-sex agenda
published: Thursday | November 25, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

IT IS no surprise that there is an attempt to bluntly attack our government, by the suggestion that laws against 'buggery', be removed from the books. Not very long ago there was an attempt to have literature on 'same-sex' relationship introduced in our schools. This was flatly rejected by the education minister and rightly so.

Why was it such an important endeavour for these advocates of the 'same-sex' lifestyle? Their ultimate agenda is to infect the minds of the youngest in our schools, thus multiplying its effect on the newer generation. If 'buggery laws' are changed, then all areas of society will be forced to accept this agenda there would be no exceptions. The easiest way to spread this 'warped-gospel', is through the schools and the youngest minds. There is a saying "as the twig is bent, so grows the tree". Seeds planted will bring harvest. The minds of our young are very fertile grounds.

It is in the best interest of the nation to protect these 'fertile' minds from the infusion of this lifestyle. Why? It is a lifestyle that's 'hostile' to the production of another human being, and must not be given legitmacy. I have not even commented on the long-term economic disaster of this.

My fellow Jamaicans; stand with the government (no playing of politics) and fervently oppose this blackmail. While doing so, be NON-VIOLENT; we are called to be our brother's and sister's keeper.

I am, etc.,
