XLCR hunt double
published: Friday | November 26, 2004

EXCELSIOR HIGH will be hunting the Corporate Area schoolboy football double today when they play Camperdown High in the Walker Cup final at the Drewsland Mini Stadium at 2:45 p.m.

The back-to-back Manning Cup champions have not lost a game all season and are not expected to begin today.

Camperdown had the most impressive first-round record, racking up nine straight wins before being edged 1-0 by Meadowbrook and at one point were tipped as the team to dethrone Excelsior.

Excelsior will have the chance to take home three separate trophies as they will meet the winner of the daCosta Cup final in a two-leg Olivier Shield play-off on December 11 and 15.
