NOTTINGHAM Forest boss Joe Kinnear is desperate to bolster his attack in an attempt to help his side climb away from the relegation zone, but insists he is not looking to sell Reggae Boy Marlon King and fellow striker David Johnson.
Forest are third from bottom of the Championship table on 20 points and seem poised to go down if their form fails to improve.
"I think agents are trying to stir things up, that is what they like to do," Kinnear said. "I'm not trying to sell Johnson and King."
It was rumoured that King, the Jamaica international who signed for the East Midlands club in December 2003 for £950 000 , would have been put up for sale along with Johnson in order to raise cash for other signings and to pay off mounting debts.
The 24-year old's form has dipped after an enterprising start to the season and he has only tallied eight goals in 22 appearances so far this season.
However, Kinnear remained tight-lipped on the future of
players at the struggling club, pointing out that the club was weighing its options.
"... There is a chance I can manoeuvre some of my players around," Kinnear said. "I am open to offers. I will do the best for the team and the club, and if the offers are right and will help me strengthen in other areas, then I will do so."
