It's been a scorching hot year for local model agencies Pulse and Saint International whose models are scoring big on the international scene.
Names like Jaunel and Nadine (Pulse), Nakiesha, Colet and Kibwe (Saint) seem to be on the lips of the movers and shakers of the fashion world.
Next year looks equally promising with more rising stars. Some of the latest to cause a stir are Pulse's Oraine Barrett and Sasha Gaye and Shanique Bailey who are represented locally by Saint.
MALE FACE of the Caribbean 2005 Oraine Barrett is set to be Pulse's latest new star. Recently signed to Major Models, Barrett has already confirmed a campaign for Abercrombie & Fitch with famed photographer Bruce Webber and will fly to the Dominican Republic to shoot the campaign in the new year.
With options for L'uomo Vogue and GQ, and the possibility of being the next face of Ralph Lauren's Polo brand, the buzz in the business is that Barrett could be the next Tyson Beckford.
