OLYMPIC DUAL gold medallist Veronica Campbell and Athens Games silver medallist Danny McFarlane were last night crowned the Queen and King of Jamaican sport in 2004 at last night's gala Carreras Sportsman and Sportwoman of the Year awards ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

Campbell's coronation was never in doubt after her triumphs in the women's 200 metres and 4x100 metres relay at last year's Olympics.

However, McFarlane, silver medallist in the men's 400m Olympic final, was in a ding-dong battle with fellow Olympian Asafa Powell, West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle and boxer Glen Johnson for the men's main prize.
