Letter of the day - Pros and cons of the minimum wage
THE EDITOR, Sir: WHEN OUR argument is driven by the pride of position/opinion, the brightest of us can be most illogical and even ridiculous. The current minimum wage debate is a case in point.

Murder rate shocking
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM appalled (not shocked) at the murder rate with just a little over two weeks completed in this a supposedly new year. As a people we are good at whatever we choose to do and being bad is no exception.


Another servant gone
THE EDITOR, Sir: ANOTHER FAITHFUL servant has gone down - murdered. The University Hospital of the West Indies mourns the loss of Dr. Ken Nanton.


Understanding God
THE EDITOR, Sir: I HUMBLY beg to differ with the views of Father Ho Lung's recent article titled 'Understanding the tsunami' in which he mooted that 'The all powerful God has acted' in the recent national grief of the eastern world.
