ACTION HEATED up at the NCB Open Doubles Championship tennis tournament at the Liguanea Club, New Kingston on Tuesday night, in men's Class One.

Two of the matches were decided by third set tiebreaks with Yussuf Migoko and Dwayne Pagon overcoming Htut Htiek and Marlon Lambert 6-2, 5-7, 7-4 while Rene Phillips and James Sampson scraped past Kristofer Martin and Tyler Chin in another nail-biter, 3-6, 6-2, 7-3. There was also a tense clash in Class Two where veterans Carl Blissett and C. Lloyd Allen held off the challenge from Andy Fennell and Everton Morgan, 3-6, 6-4, 7-4.
