St. Thomas:

The Princess Margaret Hospital launched the week of their Jubilee celebration with a church service at the Methodist Coke Church in Morant Bay, St. Thomas, on Sunday, February 20.

Among those who brought greetings was Custos Marcia Bennett, who congratulated the workers for their contributions to this fine institution.

Dr. Fenton Fergurson, member of Parliament for Eastern St. Thomas, who worked at this institution for 15 years (1978-1993) and Dr. Ronald Lampart, former medical officer, spoke of their service to the hospital.

Sharing the spotlight with the Princess Margaret Hospital celebration was the Girl Guide Association of Jamaica, St. Thomas division, celebrating World Thinking Day 2005.

Uniformed groups from several schools, representatives from the hospital and other members of the community shared in the service.
