PULSE MODEL Jaunel McKenzie has jumped 10 places on the models.com website to number 29 in the world. The website, which rates the top 50 models in the world, describes Jaunel as "incredibly refined Jamaican beauty".

" ... This elegant girl will be making major strides in the upcoming months," it read.

Jaunel, who has been modelling for less than two years, completed a record 31 runway shows at New York Fashion Week. She also recently shot a fragrance campaign for Giorgio Armani.

She is featured in an eight-page editorial for "Suede" magazine for March and currently has campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Bennetton, Neiman Marcus, Holt Renfren, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Banana Republic, H&M, Adidas and Kenneth Cole.

According to Pulse, Jaunel is "now able to command a daily rate that is oftentimes more than most models earn in a year. From a financial and prestige standpoint, McKenzie is now the most successful model that the Caribbean region has produced".

Pulse CEO, Kinsley Cooper, says he is proud of Jaunel's achievement. "We are thrilled with Jaunel's success. She is the perfect example of what an international model should be beautiful, bright, charming, focused, professional and hard-working," he said.
