Love those interviews
published: Friday | April 1, 2005

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the three-part interview (so far) of the Most Honourable P.J. Patterson, whom I love to refer to as 'Brother P', as I used to attend his late mother's church in Barbican.

I look forward to reading the final part, even if I don't agree with everything said.

I didn't realise that Mr. 'P' could evoke such emotions in me as shedding a tear, but some of his responses to the questions asked were really touching and make you realise that although he may be the Most Honourable, he is nevertheless first human like the rest of us.

I just want to say that even though we bicker on and on and on about what his government has (not) done right, the truth is, some of us still appreciate him as a person and even wish him well in his retirement plans.

I am, etc.,
