Surgeons aid kids' home in MoBay
published: Saturday | April 2, 2005

DR. GEOFFREY Williams, president of the Association of Surgeons in Jamaica and Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Cornwall Regional Hospital, recently made a presentation of $50,000 to Paola Brown, superintendent of the Blossom Gardens Children's Home in Montego Bay, St. James.

The fund was initiated at a weekend retreat held at the Franklyn D. Resort, Runaway Bay, St. Ann, in December 2004, at which Blossom Gardens was chosen as a worthy cause to support. Ms. Brown, in thanking Dr. Williams for the donation, said the money would go towards the erection of a secure playground for the children.

The Association of Surgeons in Jamaica is seeking to link with members through its website at www.asj.com.jm.
