THE EDITOR, Sir:Kindly allow me space in your newspaper to appeal to a specific group of men who contribute or have contributed negatively to the welfare of Jamaica. The men I am referring to call themselves 'playas', 'gallist', 'girlsman', 'c...sman', 'pimps' and whatever aliases these men describe themselves.
My appeal to these careless and irresponsible men is that your contribution to Jamaica is one that is absolutely destructive. You go around impregnating young women and abandoning them in one swift manoeuvre.
LOOK INTO YOURSELVES
It is time you look into yourselves and realise that your actions give more likelihood to the devastation of our country. Crime is already at a high and the contributions made by you are only adding fuel to the fire. Is this the legacy you want to leave behind?
Take a look at how many children you see abandoned, or live on the streets. I am sure that if dad was a responsible man, more than half of these children would likely be off the streets. Please be responsible and stop going around bringing children into this world that you are not going to care for. This can be a positive contribution to our country Jamaica.
