Flush them out
published: Sunday | April 10, 2005

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I CANNOT understand these politicians. Concerning the situation in Spanish Town, people are being murdered left, right and centre, yet when the police act they are branded as Nazis.

If the police did nothing, they are branded as ineffective. What must the security forces do? Just sit there and let people be murdered?

They have to act and if it means locking down an entire community and detaining and processing every male, do it.

Since no one will come forward and point out the thugs, then lock down the community and flush them out.

Saving lives is what counts, not a politician's cheap ego.

I am, etc.,

WAIN ROY
