What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?

I am predominantly interested in dancing, music and studying psychology. I have been dancing since I was about five and I have always enjoyed it, especially when given the chance to be in a show. I love and enjoy listening to music from Bjork, Tori Amos, to the typical hip hop/dancehall. I do not think I could live a day without music. I am also interested in playing the guitar, which I have begun learning.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?

No one person has influenced my life the most as there have been many individuals who have influenced various aspects of my life. For example, Mr. Walder (sixth form geography teacher), who encouraged me to try harder and always aim to succeed. Niela Ebanks (dancer), who always told me to never stop dancing.

What is your proudest personal accomplishment?

Placing among first in the island for computer science (CAPE) and also being in the top five in the island for geography and sociology (CAPE).

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you, and or what is the most interesting thing about you?

In the summer of 2002, when in Canada, my cousin surprised me with a ticket to a Lenny Kravitz concert. Not only did I go to the (excellent) concert, but I also got the opportunity to go backstage, meet him and hang out.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.

I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. I grew up in Mona in a family of four (mother, father, younger brother and myself). I had a fun childhood filled with numerous birthday parties and outings with friends. I was also fortunate to be surrounded by a large and loving family, which allowed me to travel the world in order to visit them and also enjoy and experience their world and culture. I was very fortunate and was allowed to experience childhood at its best.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?

In 10 years, I hope to have completed my masters and/or Ph.D. in psychology and to be working successfully and consistently in that field. I also hope to continue dancing possibly for a company.
