The Grand Coronation of Miss Jamaica Universe 2005 was not without drama. An undeniable part of that spectacle was the exquisite gowns created for the contestants by Uzuri.

The 13 women were presented in gowns that featured the Uzuri signature of style and opulence. Feathers, sequins and other accent pieces on sheer and fluid fabrics that highlight the beauty of the female's body are Uzuri trademarks.

The contestants, for the most part, wore the gowns well, and in one case, with Carolyn Yapp, earned the prize for 'Best in Gown'.
