ONE OF the finest corporate lawyers in the land, Emile George celebrated the golden anniversary of his call to the Bar on Saturday, April 23.
Mr. George hosted a quiet reception where family, friends and colleagues could tell him face-to-face how they felt about him. Mr. George has built a sparkling reputation from his many cases. He will always be lauded for his work with prestigious firm, Dunn Cox which at the time was known as Dunn, Cox, Orrett and Ashenheim.
"It's been a wonderful experience," he said. "I have been doing something I really enjoy, and still enjoy. In cricket terms, I consider myself 50 not out," he laughed; an indication that he has no intention to leave just yet. On this night, he was just intent on having a good time.
"I am most thankful for good health and to all my colleagues at the bar. And also my darling wife Pamela," he stated, a big smile surfacing on his face.
Among the guests who came to celebrate with the Georges were Charles and Lisa Johnston; Christopher Roberts; Richard Ashenheim; Michelle Bovell; Delroy Chuck; Dr and Mrs. Marshall Hall; Derek and Maureen Jones; Sir Alister McIntyre; Roy and Sylvia Collister; Paul Bitter; Alwin and Anita Bully; Professor Errol Morrison; Trevor Riley; Dr. Laura Tanna; Oliver Jones; William McConnell; Anthony Bell; William Chin-See; Norman Egerton Wright Q.C. and wife Mignon Jean Anderson.
