THE HARDWARE merchants are reporting that their ninth biennial show staged last weekend at the National Arena fulfilled expectations to be the most successful production since its inception in 1989.
Originally focused on the building and construction industry, the exposition was renamed the 'Home and Hardware Show', and expanded to include products synonymous with the upkeep, comfort and beautification of the home.
This successful concept, which was introduced in 1995, has been the focus ever since and has allowed the planners a wider arena of participants making the expo the place to go for consumers last weekend.
An aerial view of the physical layout of the show from the third floor of the venue presented a picture of professionally laid out and elegantly decorated booths.
Chairman of the Hardware Merchants' Association, Michael Brooks said that, from the point of view of the producers, initial feedback indicated that the association could count the 2005 show as being successful.
