JMA to get cheaper energy

Economists cut forecasts for US growth
NEW YORK, (Reuters): PRIVATE-SECTOR economists cut their forecasts for United States growth in 2005 compared with three months ago, a Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia survey showed on Monday, but the economic outlook remains robust.


Overseas hotel jobs safe with passage of US bill
THE JOBS of more than 2,000 hotel workers who would have been cut from the government's Overseas Hotel Employment Programme as a result of tightening security measures in the United States, have been saved.
