BOYS' TOWN dispatched the charge of arch-rivals Santos to join Bull Bay in the final of the Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Jamaica National Super League with a 3-1 win at the Spring Complex yesterday.
Starting the game with a 3-2 advantage from the first leg of the semi-finals, Boys' Town ended the three-year dominance of Santos as they romped to an easy 6-3 aggregate victory after having to come from behind due to a 15th-minute Gregory Consingh strike.
Troy Dawes put the 'Red Brigade' back in the game with an 18th minute goal, before Santos were all but eliminated by a Michael Campbell strike that should be considered among the best goals of the season in the 45th minute.
Boys' Town captain, Fitzroy Anglin, made things certain when he nodded home a corner in the 72nd.
After the game, Boys' Town's coach, Andrew Price, was elated at his team's execution. "We've been averaging two goals a game and I felt that if we got goals today, we were going to win the game and we got three goals today," Price said.
Santos coach Carlton 'Spanner' Dennis wished his opponents well for the remainder of the season.
"Boys' Town, this was a good season for them, so I hope they go all the way. We wish them all the best," Dennis said.
