Thomas, who hit a schoolboy record withn an undefeated 324 against St. Catherine in the Grace Shield final, scored 110 yesterday in Eltham's 258 for nine off their allotted 95 overs.

The right-handed batsman, who hit five fours and one six, got support from Sandre Watson, who contributed 30. Fredrick Hermitt, 25 not out, Romio Parker, 21, Matthew Stewart, 19, Shane Harris, 12, and Oshane Baugh, 10, were the other batsmen to reach into double figures.

Horace Harris (3-43) and Nicholas Ferron (2-70) were the chief wicket-takers.

In reply, Norman Manley were struggling on 74 for three after 35 overs.

Needing to score another 3.08 runs per over, Sidue Hunter, 31, and Winston Walker, eight, will have to step up Norman Manley's run rate when play resumes this morning at 10:00.

Currently, Norman Manley are scoring at 2.11 runs per over. Miller, 20, Rohan Williams, 10, and Ryan Francis, one, were back in the pavilion. Thomas and Harris have both taken 1-12.
