published: Monday | May 23, 2005

WESTERN BUREAU:

A COUPLE from Flankers, St. James, will be facing an identification parade tomorrow in connection with an American national who went missing after checking into a Montego Bay hotel.

Steven Edward King, of Daytona, Florida, was reported missing on Monday, May 14. Reports from the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) liaison officer for St. James are that Mr. King came into the island on May 13 and at about 1:30 p.m. checked into a local hotel with a female companion.

At about 8:25 p.m., he reportedly left the hotel with the female companion in a rented Mitsubishi Lancer motor car registered 8081 DE. The woman returned alone about 8:10 a.m. the following morning and checked out of the hotel. Mr. King, who was scheduled to leave the island on May 16, has not been seen since.
