MORE SHOWERS are expected today as the remnants of Hurricane Adrian continue to influence weather conditions across the island.

Adrian Shaw, senior forecaster at the National Meteorological Centre, said there will more rains as well as thunderstorms mainly over western parishes. This condition will gradually spread to central and eastern parishes towards the afternoon as the remnants of the hurricane pass over the northern and eastern sections of the island.
