BOYS' TOWN are aiming to put away Bull Bay swiftly when the teams decide the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) KSAFA Super League championship in Saturday's return-leg final.
The Colour Reds hold a 2-1 lead over Bull Bay following Saturday's first leg final and after labelling his team's achievement thus far as "Half-Way-Tree", Price says Boys' Town will be coming out very positive in the next game.
"We will be going for two early goals in order to put them on the backfoot and nail home this advantage," he said.
However, Bull Bay's player/coach Barrington Gaynor is also optimistic and promised that they will win.
"We are two goals better than Boys' Town," Gaynor said. "I am very confident in the team's ability to beat them and that is exactly what we aim to do come next week."
GUTSY PERFORMANCE
Despite playing a man down following the ejection of Jermaine Bailey 30 minutes from time, a determined 'Red Brigade' bunch turned in a gutsy performance to hold off the late charge made by Bull Bay.
After both teams had played to a goalless, yet eventful first half in which Boys' Town's Troy Dawes hit the upright after three minutes, the Super League titans manufactured three second half goals for the fair-sized crowd witnessing the game at Harbour View Mini Stadium on Saturday.
It was Boys' Town who got the first goal, this from the boots of Oneil Thompson who drove a 47th minute free kick around a poorly constructed five-man wall. To make matters worse, Bull Bay's goalkeeper Andrew Land made a meal of what seemed a routine save by diving over the ball.
The second goal, which came seven minutes later, was a well taken header by Michael Campbell from a corner by Dawes.
The early goals on the resumption left Bull Bay winded. But they got a lifeline when referee Victor Stewart gave Bailey marching orders after an off-the-ball incident with Bull Bay's Oneil Gayle.
Even with the numerical advantage the Bulls' never seem in control until Jermaine Taylor directed an Eric Allison square past Boys' Town's Marvin Mundy to pull one back for Bull Bay.
MEADHAVEN LEAD
Meanwhile, Meadhaven hold a 1-0 lead over Police going into next weekend's return leg Major League final, which will also be played at Harbour View Mini Stadium.
Meadhaven's midfielder Courtney Williams scored against the lethargic looking Police side in the 11th minute.
The winner of the Super League will represent KSAFA in the Wray and Nephew National Premier League play-offs.
Star Cosmos of St. Mary and Los Perfectos of Manchester have already qualified.
