Watching with interest

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I WATCH with interest the arguments and counter-arguments being made for and against politicians putting in writing their support for the law and their rejection of criminality. The discussion is fast degenerating into a blame game and clearly some politicians while rightly pointing out the hyprocrisy of some members of the private sector seem to conveniently forget the symbolic importance of the action being requested of them.
I call that all the individual members of the PSOJ, JMA, JCC, JEF and other associated entities also put in writing that which they have demanded from the politician and just so no one can call me a hyprocrite, I submit in writing the following:
I, Nimal Amitirigala, solemnly commit to continue disassociating with criminals and vow to con-tinue to conform to the laws of Jamaica and to pay my taxes on time.
As a voter, I continue to watch with interest who writes and signs and who does not.
I am, etc.,
