The15th Annual Jamaica Ocho Rios Jazz Festival presents Opening Jazz Day, under the theme History of Jazz-Straight no chaser at the Almond Tree Hibiscus Lounge, from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. Featuring Rupert Bent Snr., Cindy Breakspeare, Peter Ashbourne, Rosina Moder, Karen Smith, Jackie Jackson, Susan and Peter Couch. Special performances by Ginetta's Vendetta Quartet, Konig Quartet, The Jamaica Big Band, Barbara Cadet, and Diamara Neil. Live music by Unique Vision Band. This is an all-inclusive event.

Ole' Jamaica Concert

Friends of St. Pius X present Ole' Jamaica Concert at the Stella Maris Church Hall, 62 Shortwood Road, Kingston 8, from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. Featuring 50/50 Band, Wayne Armond, Dimario McDowell, Charmaine Limonius, Boris Gardiner, Stella Maris Dancers, St. Pius X Choir, Paulette Bellamy and Dr. Carol Ball-Thompson, Ambassador Madge Barrett, Dwight Pinkney, Ruth HoShing and Grace McGhie and many more. Proceeds in aid of St. Pius X Church Communities.

Somerton Gospel Explosion
