published: Monday | June 13, 2005

THE ST. James police have charged three persons for the murder of American national Steven Edward King of Daytona, Florida, who went missing on Saturday, May 14. He was scheduled to leave the island Monday, May 16.

Facing the capital charge are Toiseini Natasha 'Norean' Timberlake, 24, Dennis 'Blacks' Morns, 30 and Damion 'Biggs' Miller, 18. They are to appear at the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday June 15.

The Constabulary Communi-cation Network (CCN) had earlier reported that Mr. King and a woman had checked into a north coast hotel at about 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13. He left with her in a rented Mitsubishi Lancer motor car about 8:25 p.m. She returned alone to check out at 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, May 14. Mr. King was not seen again until his body was found and exhumed from a shallow grave on the Home Hill Road in Ironshore, St. James, on Sunday, May 22.
