DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Tivoli Gardens enter the semi-finals as the underdogs although ending the season with the smallest number of defeats and the most prolific attack with 68 goals.

They also have the competition's leading goalscorer in Christopher Nicholas with 23 goals, earning for himself a national recall while dislodging his teammate Roland Dean from the Jamaica squad. Brian Rose, manager of Tivoli Gardens, spoke about his team's chances in advancing to their second straight finals. "We are expecting a good game tomorrow (today). Both team have quality players and play very attacking football. It should be a keenly contested game," Rose said.

"I hope that we have a proper surface without rain so that both teams can play attractive football. I hope that Tivoli will come out mentally and physically prepared and get the job done," said Rose.
