FORMER WEST Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Pat Rousseau is set to toss the hat in the ring once again to lead the region's cricketing administration.
President of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) Jackie Hendriks last night confirmed Rousseau's willingness to run by saying 'we are looking for someone to second us."
"You can't put someone up unless you have a secondary," said Hendriks.
It is likely that Jamaica could get support from the Leeward or the Windward Islands.
Rousseau has already led the regional governing body but was forced to quit in June 2001 along with then vice-president Clarvis Joseph after the board's directors overturned their decision to dismiss then team manager Ricky Skerritt.
Since Rousseau's departure in 2001, the WICB has had two presidents at the helm, Rev. Wes Hall, who took over the job from him and present president Teddy Griffith.
Griffith announced on June 9 that he would be unavailable to accept nomination for a second term.
The posts of president and vice-president are up for election at the AGM on August 7.
