A people's militia
published: Saturday | July 2, 2005

THE EDITOR, Sir:

FOR WEEKS, if not months or years, I have read several articles and letters on 'How to cure the crime problem', and no one has suggested the real solution, which is a people's militia! That would indeed be the solution. Arm and train the citizens to fight back and reclaim our land as these terrorists among us have ruined our country. They are 'foreigners' in our land and have brought us shame and disgrace.

RECLAIM OR DIE

Law enforcement appears to have collapsed and to be political pawns from the top down. Corruption is rampant from top down so well-meaning Jamaicans must reclaim the land or die! Is it not better to fight and die for your country than to sit by and watch the slow agonising death of our country? Give the truly law- abiding citizen a right to defend the land as law enforcement alone is not helping.

This is a last ditch effort which is the final solution to save Jamaica.

I am, etc.,
