BRITISH AIRWAYS' Commercial Manager, North Caribbean, Diane Corrie, got the surprise of her life when colleagues, family and friends surprised her with a 20th anniversary party. The venue was the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel and the menu and company were the best anyone could ask for.
Hotel Manager Nancy McLean welcomed all on behalf "... of the Pegasus family who were also celebrating a 30-year partnership with the Airline."
She reminded everyone that the hotel's Roof Garden would be opening soon.
As guests sipped the evening's special limpy punch, Mrs. Corrie thanked her great team, her husband, partners, travel agents and family.
She said, "It has been 20 years of wonderful exposure and a great opportunity; there have been challenges but also great opportunities for growth and development. I have had to travel a lot but I thank my family and friends who have kept things together in my absence."
And, in 2007, British Airways will celebrate 60 years of unbroken service to Jamaica.
