WITH THE help of over 3000 viewers, Virginia Kerr, Television anchor/reporter of the CBS affiliated station KMOV4 of St. Louis, Missouri planned her wedding to Nathan Buehler, personal trainer.
Viewers voted on their choice of wedding dress; bridesmaid dress; tuxedo for the groom and bouquet for the bride.
However, the location for the wedding was the decision of the bride and groom and they choose the all-inclusive resort, Grand Lido Negril.
On June 11, 2005 with close friends and family members present, they exchanged vows in Grand Lido Negril's wedding gazebo, at sunset, perched atop the cliffs overlooking the soothing waters of the Bloody Bay cove.
Virginia said, "I met Nathan a few months after I moved to St. Louis. He was my personal trainer. I should have known when I was looking forward to working out all day long that there was something going on. He had just moved from Tennessee. I am from Alabama. I guess you could say there was a southern connection. After training for a couple of months, Nathan and I started dating in December of 2003. I knew in the first three weeks that he was the one. Of course he thought I was insane when I told him that three weeks in, but I didn't care. And he seems to have got over that too."
The Reverend James Peart officiated the ceremony.
