Good security move
WE WELCOME the good news that the Jamaican police force is to be equipped with a state-of-the-art fingerprint and ballistic identification system, a long overdue technology absolutely indispensable for fighting crime in the 21st century.
Surely there is a big difference between being a well-kept prisoner on Robben Island and being able to walk the streets of post-Apartheid Johannesburg even if one does not have a rand in the pocket. - Martin Henry
