Shout out and 'Heal Our Land'
published: Friday | August 12, 2005

SHOUTS of adoration will reach the clouds tomorrow at Cinema 2 when Alvin Slaughter and Judy Jacobs rock New Kingston with their songs of praise.

The concert is dubbed 'Heal Our Land' and brings together these two dynamic artistes and some of our local acts including Stitchie.

But 'Heal Our Land' is not just a one-night concert. On Saturday, organisers of the concert, Greater Works International Fellowship, will host a praise and worship workshop at the Church on the Rock starting at 8:30 a.m.

Prophet Andrew Scott, senior pastor of the fellowship explained the concept for the workshop.

"The belief is that there is a specific way to God and the workshop will give participants the necessary steps to achieve that goal. We believe that when the participants go back to their communities, we will have a nation cleansing result," he said.

Interested persons who wish to attend the workshop must call to register and can do so up until Saturday morning.

However, only 1,500 seats are available. The hotline numbers are: 758-0663 and 758-6675.
