FESTIVAL OF FOODS of bakers, breadfruits and ackees

LAST WEEKEND saw a number of food festivals across the island and the Food team went in search of them. Today we bring you highlights of The Gleaner-sponsored Bakers and Pastry Makers Fiesta held at Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre on Hope Road.

We also journeyed to Linstead in St. Catherine where the citizens came together for the first Ackee Festival at Dinthill Technical High School. And in St. Mary, the Jeffrey Town Farmers' Association held the first Breadfruit Festival, which took centre stage in their community.
