Jamaica Gleaner Letters

LETTER OF THE DAY - Find alternative ways to protest
THE EDITOR, Sir: WHILE I fully support the call by any organisation to protest/ demonstrate our dissatisfaction with the state of affairs of our country or the decline in living standards, we must be careful...

C&W's flat rate regime
THE EDITOR, Sir: ERROL MILLER'S response of September 3, to Peter Espeut's article of October 3 (sic) - actually August 3 - is, to say the least, disingenuous.

More animal shelters needed
THE EDITOR, Sir: FURTHER TO Ayala Bennett's timely letter published on September 4, we at The Animal House Jamaica concur heartily with the call for more animal shelters across the island.

Successful protest
THE EDITOR, Sir: I MUST say that the protest yesterday was very successful. It has shown that we can protest without violence, although there may be small pockets of violence in some places.
