LETTER OF THE DAY - Windscreeen wipers harassing motorists
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WISH to add my voice of outrage at the harassment I have faced in my morning commute along Spanish Town Road in the vicinity of Three Miles. A young windscreen wiper began to target me every morning....

Pulling Janet ' s leg!
THE EDITOR, Sir: Janet Silvera's article in The Gleaner, titled 'Receiving the greats - Castro and Chavez', was certainly lively and enjoyable! However, Ms. Silvera left her left leg a little exposed when she described President Castro thus:

Let us be constructive
THE EDITOR, Sir: THERE IS a wise saying, if you can't make things better for God's sake, please don't make it worse. This message needs to go around hastily, especially to those who seek every opportunity to get popularity.

We need better representatives
THE EDITOR, Sir: I read a letter sent to you recently,'Dem want to mash up yu legacy?', speaking of Mr. Patterson's legacy. The writer of that letter made mention of Highway 2000, but Highway 2000 came as a result of the taxes the Jamaican people paid.
