published: Friday | September 16, 2005

ST. JOHN'S, Antigua:

THE WEST Indies will host the Zimbabwe and India national cricket teams next year. Zimbabwe will arrive in the region on April 12 for a month-long tour during which they will play two Test matches and five one-day internationals before leaving on May 15.

The Zimbabweans will engage the University of the West Indies Vice Chancellor's XI in a three-day game at the Three W's Oval, Cave Hill campus, Barbados prior to the first Digicel Test in Guyana. They will also have a one-day practice match in Trinidad prior to the start of the Digicel One-Day International Series also in Trinidad.

West Indian fans will also see the first day/night one-day international in the region when the teams meet in St Lucia on May 10.
