Mr. Patterson lives in Utopia
published: Tuesday | September 20, 2005

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM still waiting to see the progress under Mr. P.J. Patterson's government. Mr Patterson lives and rules in a utopian world. Most Jamaicans are going through the worst times of their lives.

Why do you suppose the crime rate is so high?

The people have no hope, no dream, no plan, nothing to live for. Here is a society where middle-class no longer exist. There are only two types of people rich and poor, the haves and the have nots, people who can eat and people who are hungry.

The crime rate will get higher until someone from the political arena realises that he/she needs to put back hope in the mind of our broken hearted people.

Who will advocate for the poor people of Jamaica? Not Mr Patterson, he dropped the ball. Mr. Bruce Golding is out of touch. He proved himself to be a total idiot when he encouraged the people to demonstrate in such a way that it set the country deeper in the abyss.

I am, etc.,
