THE BEST of Jamaica's agriculture will be on display today at a special exposition being staged by the Ministry of Agriculture to highlight new developments in the sector.
The exposition, which will be mounted on the grounds of the Ministry's head office at Hope Gardens in St. Andrew, will highlight the achievements in the areas of plant research, development of disease-tolerant crop varieties, improved production and animal husbandry practices.
SERVICES TO BE SHOWCASED
The event, being held under the theme: Promoting food safety, food security and export development', will also showcase the scope of the services offered to the farming community and the public.
The Ministry's International Trade Unit and the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) will feature interactive displays and much more.
