CHINA MOTORS, which has offices in Kingston and Montego Bay, is one of the many enterprising businesses that will be showcasing a wide range of products and services when the 'Montego Bay Expo 2005' unfolds at the Montego Bay Cargo and Cruise Ship Terminal on October 7-9.
This year will mark the second time that the company will be participating in the Expo, and Managing Director Oliver Townsend is extremely excited about China Motors' participation in this year's activities, as they plan to unveil their 2006 line of vehicles to the public.
China Motors, which has its headquarters at Bogue, St. James, has spread its wings into Kingston and is also operating from a new branch at 31 Hagley Park Road.
In speaking to the capability of China Motors, Mr. Townsend said they represent the best that China has to offer in light commercial vehicles, including small pick-up trucks, panel vans, window vans, buses and coaches.
GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT
He also noted that plans are afoot to widen the line of vehicles offered to include cars. In looking at its business success over the past year, Mr. Townsend said the company's greatest achievement is the overwhelming response it has got from customers because of the excellent standard of its service.
"We are proud that we have been able to offer great value products and excellent parts support to our valued customers." Mr. Townsend said.
Mr. Townsend also expressed pleasure at the fact that a number of large fleet companies have been purchasing vehicles from China Motors. He said he is incredibly excited that China Motors is the sole agent of the 'jinbei' line of vehicle.
The pick-up vans at China Motors start at a price range of $990,000 and are available in both diesel and gas. They have a wide range of at least 20 different types of pick-up vans.
With their mission statement which reads 'Great value, great services, great wall', China Motors is committed to the strengthening and widening of their product line. The company also intends to provide more mini coaches and buses for use in the tourism industry.
