CLOCK WORK, ridden by Charles Hussey, storming clear of rivals to win the open allowance feature for the Fontainbleu Trophy over 1500 metres, in class record time of 1:30.1, at Caymanas Park, on Wednesday. Installed a 3-5 favourite, the American 3-y-o colt is co-owned by Winston Kong and Wayne DaCosta who doubles as trainer. - CARLINGTON WILMOT/FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER

THE PICK-9 starts anew at Caymanas Park tomorrow after one lucky punter spotted all nine winners on Wednesday to walk away $3.1 million richer.

We look at the Super-6 which gets under way in the fifth race with a $200,000-$170,000 claiming race over 1500 metres to be contested by seven starters.

Included in the line-up are the recent winner NAVIGATOR, PLEASANT WOOD and GILNOCK, who was noted finishing hands over fist, on September 28 when 4 1/2 lengths fourth to SIR KISSON LAL over 1400 metres.

GILNOCK was a much better horse than NAVIGATOR and PLEASANT WOOD up to six months ago and now that he's on the rebound, gets the nod with a mere 51.kg and competent Larris Allen aboard.

POLISH MARKET, who was an unlucky loser on September 21 when going under in a blanket finish to ASTRO CRUNCH and PRIOR PARK, should atone in the sixth over the circular nine course, a race in which SOY MUJER and SIR KHAN are twin dangers in a field of 10.

STORMY SKY, who has been knocking at the door, gets a glorious opportunity in the seventh race over 1100 metres. With title-chasing jockey Brian Harding sticking with her, the 4-y-o filly from the stables of Gary Subratie gets the nod over the speedy ANCIENT SOUL.

I like the look of CORDITE (Charles Hussey) in the knotty looking eighth race over the straight five course, this for $350,000-$320,000 claimers.

The last two races should be won by super fit AD INFINITUM (a nap selection) and the fleet-footed straight specialist MAKING WAVES (Harding up) to stave off RUNDUMPLINRUN and LONG LONG JOURNEY in the closing straight five race.
