Burnt bodies found on embankment
published: Friday | October 21, 2005

POLICE ARE investigating the discovery of the charred remains of two persons in a burnt vehicle on the railway embankment road in the Bladen Hall/Strathspey area.

The bodies were burnt beyond recognition and post-mortem examinations are to be done.

The torching is the latest in a string of revenge/vigilante-type attacks in Buxton and surrounding areas and the burnt car has been traced to a Bel Air resident. One person has been taken into custody for questioning. It is still unclear what events led to the burning.
