Becca Cup top four decided
published: Saturday | October 22, 2005

THE FOUR top teams chasing the Tony Becca Cup in the Petcom/Portmore Metropolitan Cricket League were decided last Sunday.

Rain prevented play in last week's top-of-the-table clash between Portsmouth and Elevation, so too Ken's Wild-flower against Washington CC, Waterford versus Cumberland and Hamilton Gardens against Belmont.

That means the teams shared four points each, which saw Elevation and Portsmouth ending atop Zone A with 18 points each and Waterford and Hamilton finishing Zone B with 14 points apiece.

Based on their preliminary round victories over Portsmouth and Hamilton Gardens, Elevation and Waterford were crown zone champions.

Elevation won the Sharon Hay Webster Cup for winning their zone while Waterford won the Ken Crooks Cup.

The final is set for November 6 at Bridgeport Sports Club.
