Julia brought Ryan to the emergency room after she prevented J.R. from beating him to death. Babe reached out to J.R., trying to help him get past his pain. They ended up in a kiss, but things got ugly when Babe refused to sleep with J.R. Babe learned of Amanda's plan to elope with Jamie. Even as Ryan made progress in convincing Greenlee that he was a changed man, she received a shocking phone call. Zach prevented Julia from doing something she would regret. An angry Julia then kissed Zach, which Kendall witnessed. Di told Tad she was not leaving town just because he wanted her to. Josh revealed to Greg how he really felt about Erica. News of Kendall's pregnancy was concealed from Ryan.

To prevent the judge from putting Rory into state care, Cass suggested that Iris be designated the baby's guardian, which Gwen reluctantly agreed to. Meg secretly drew her own blood sample and used it in the test, declaring that Jennifer's blood did not match the baby's. Initially relieved, Paul became overwhelmed with guilt as he watched Jennifer grieve. When Dusty revealed that Jennifer didn't want to see him because he reminded her of her loss, Meg was privately pleased. B.J. orchestrated the Halloween party, having Mike locked in the cellar, while B.J. finally revealed his true identity to Katie.

Thanks to Eric and Brooke's personal bond and their new campaign, Forrester's clothing line left Thomas and Spectra in the dust. As Gaby anti-cipated being deported, Taylor quietly arranged to have Gaby given official status in the United States, and her
college scholarship restored. When Bridget confronted Eric and insisted that Nick was still in love with Brooke, Eric lied about his and Brooke's (nonexistent) sex life. Stephanie stunned her family by announcing her intention to leave town because she couldn't stop meddling. Later, Stephanie made a startling discovery and asked Massimo for help.

After John received divorce papers, he attacked Alex, accusing him of brainwashing Marlena. Sami was appalled when Austin hired Nicole at his new company, making her Sami's boss, and suggested that Nicole move in with them. Nicole sensed a career opportunity when Donald Trump visited Salem to make a donation to the Horton Foundation. Hope noticed how Chelsea squandered the money she cadged from Bo. When Shawn opted not to finish college, Hope felt that Bo had been neglecting his sons. Jack asked Billie for a big favour, but she refused to help him carry out his suicidal plan. Max bought an interest in an auto repair shop.

Courtney learned the results of the paternity test and stunned Jax and Nikolas with her announcement. Lucky was happy to see Luke at his wedding, as Elizabeth began her walk down the aisle. Jason's condition worsened and Robin's experimental treatments seemed likely to help. However, Jason remembered how Robin had betrayed him and didn't want her to be involved in his care. Held at gunpoint by Manny, Jason and Sam managed to get the upper hand at least for now. Ric and Alexis received alarming news about their unborn child. Sonny admitted to Emily that he and the children need her in their lives.

Guiding Light:
Mallet showed up in time to stop Dinah from shooting Edmund, but much to Edmund's ire, the gun was a fake and no charges were filed against her. Edmund escaped and, in disguise, met with Alan in prison, where they plotted their dastardly schemes. Jonathan convinced Ava to sign the divorce papers, aware that he was setting up Sandy for a fall so that Tammy will turn to him (Jonathan) for support. Gus intercepted a video of Harley and Mallet kissing at the prison and prevented it from being shown at the stockholders' meeting but also hid it from Harley. Olivia appeared to be taking advantage of Josh's loneliness.
Coming: Jonathan acts the 'helpful' friend to Tammy and Sandy.
One Life to Live:
Although fearing that Nash would leave her once he found out the truth, Tess finally told him about her condition, and he remained true to her. Newly returned to Llanview, Clint warned Nash that Tess wouldn't be the same person once she and Jessica became integrated. Bo and John speculated that Todd killed Margaret, much to Blair's horror. Blair stuck with Todd after he denied the accusations, but Bo received some troubling new evidence. Nora suffered another attack. Spencer won Asa's prized racehorse in a poker game and made a cryptic comment. Rex accused Adriana of denying her feelings for him.
Coming: Dorian's wedding day brings a few surprises.
Passions:
After her attempt to smother Alistair was interrupted by Fancy, Theresa prepared some deadly guacamole for him. Chris returned to town and hit Alistair while defending Sheridan, thereby inviting retribution. Sheridan begged Chris to take James and leave, only to have the child's life put in peril when a drunk driver struck him. Jessica got high in order to deal with working for Spike, and woke up next to a bloody corpse. Eve noticed Simone's bruises and grilled her about the night of the motel murder. T.C. learned that Simone is a lesbian. Chad and Fox weren't pleased when Alistair hired Fancy at Crane.

Brad took offence when Victoria called off anything other than a business relationship between them, suspecting that he might be using her to get ahead at Newman. Later, however, they agreed to be friends. As Lauren believed she was having another hallucination, Tom snuck into her hospital room and retrieved the poisoned necklace. Calling in a favour as 'Jennifer' for having saved Gloria's life, Sheila procured an invite to Michael and Lauren's wedding, and wrapped her special gift, a poisonous snake. When Devon wanted to live with a recovering Yolanda, Dru surprised him and Neil by bringing Yolanda into their home to stay.
